This game takes place in Philidelphia, Pennsylvania.


How long have characters been in Philidelphia?
All characters in the game arrived in Philidelphia on March 1, 2015. It has been a little over a year since their arrival.


How did the magic transform the characters in the modern world?
Villains united throughout the various worlds to create an enchantment that would send away all the heroes. Those who were sent away were to be sent into miserable lives and never to be seen again. However, the spell did not go according to plan and all thanks to a few moles in the mix (and a few clumsy mistakes). Instead, both heroes and villains were sent to Philidelphia. Their abilities, memories and pasts carried over as well.

Each character arrives knowing who they are, but they have a fake backstory attached to their modern day alias. For example, Eric would know he hooked up with Ariel and he'd even know he is a prince. He'd remember all of that, but he would wake in Philidelphia suddenly living the life as another career. Maybe he's a politician, maybe owns a restaurant -- it's all up to you! Because the spell went awry, aliases were good and bad. So if you want your character to have a great life or a challenging one, you have the freedom to choose.


Who helped with the magic?
Queen Grimhilde (NPC) originally created the plan and, needing a great deal of magic for such an enchantment, recruited other villains throughout the world to help her. Villains of all forms helped in some fashion, but some had a change of heart and spoiled the spell so it wouldn't work correctly. Done with good intentions, the spell created a mess for everyone. Who was a pure villain and who was a mole? That is for you to decide and part of the fun!


Is there a character limit?
At this time, there is no cap on characters, but we will put a limit in place if things get out of hand.


Can my character be different from its original story?
Characters are introduced to a new life in Philidelphia, so they may decide to change their previous stance in the world. A hero might align with the villains and a villain may align with the heroes. The spell might have made one character several years older while another character might be a few years younger. How a character lives in the modern world is entirely up to you.


Do characters know one another in the modern world?
At first no one recognized each other but, as time went on, people started to reconnect. The "heroes" introduced a league for anyone wishing to do good and restore things to how they were before. A lot of "good guys" reconnect there and help one another in working towards a life back "home". Villains have a similar organization. However, you are not required to have your character a part of these organizations. If they want to live their own life apart from everything, then they totally can. It is up to you who knows your character's true story.


How to they live and communicate with one another?
Characters were given a fake backstory and a new 'home' with the enchantment, so a means of life is provided. Of course you may choose what these entail. Characters communicate on a social network (the subcommunities). Even if your character did not know what a computer or telephone was in their world, they would have had at least a year to learn how to work them. This way everyone can communicate one way or another!
